Overseer of the revenue, manager of the projects, leader of the team, and tackler of all things operations - Billy Ward has fittingly joined our team as Chief Operating Officer. With over 20 years of leadership experience, and a college soccer coach no less, there's no one more fit to drive our team into shape. (Both figuratively and literally - 6 am workout anyone?)
Billy joined The Squad on the cusp of our growth from 12 to 17 team members. Billy is an energetic leader, and possesses the know-how and capabilities to truly take our team to the next level. Between starting our morning meetings with a random selection of upbeat tunes, to helping keep our team organized and on-task- Billy is sure to keep things interesting! Oh, and did we mention he is a Duke fan? We will have to find a way to forgive him for that one.
Bryce (CEO and Chief Storyteller) and I were acquaintances through various mutual connections. He was looking for a COO, I was looking for a new adventure and some of those mutual connections recommended that we connect.
I love the culture and tremendous growth of the company.
I am a huge fan of my wife and children, hanging out with them is full of interesting adventures and coolness. I am also an avid soccer fan. I currently coach a college soccer team and love helping the guys on the team develop and learn about life. Finally, and just as important, I am very active in my church- serving others is a blessing.
Leadership - helping our company and our clients to be successful and grow. Building strong and sustaining relationships. Everyone and everything we do matters, I have a passion to see others utilize their skills to the fullest potential.
I am a huge fan of humor and integrity. Bring on some good music - U2 is my favorite band of all time. I grew up in Roanoke, VA and at the age of 6, I became a die hard Philadelphia Eagles fan and Duke Bluedevil fan (yes - I like the attention). I worked for an airline for 18 years, mostly in a Leadership role, and with those leadership responsibilities we relocated to several cities across the United States, which led us to Louisville. My wife and I love Louisville and traveling. Christ is first.
