The Squad is a group of storytellers and business enthusiasts …
…who have come together to make magic happen. We are here for you. We take what’s best about your word-of-mouth business and amplify it in the digital space to the right people, at the right time, in the right way.
We may do that by building you an awesome website or maybe we’ll create your marketing plan and be your ongoing, outsourced partner! Even if you just want to stay in our circle as business peers, we're a Squad and we're happy to have you!
The best of the best...
Meet the makers and creators
The Marketing Squad exists to partner with our clients to tell their story and grow their business. We fulfill our mission through a disciplined mastery of digital marketing tactics, a commitment to inbound marketing methodologies, and a passion to serve well.
We seek to delight our clients, cultivate a creative team, operate in a fun and fulfilling work environment, and foster a better community by funding restorative charitable work.
As a part of our mission to foster a better community in Louisville and our region, we give 5% of all project sales to our Giving Partners — local nonprofits doing restorative charitable work. Additionally, we give 10% of all company profits, distributed among these organizations.
We are serious about our core values and mission. We are serious about our clients’ goals. What do we not take too seriously? Ourselves. We’re a laid back crew that believes “a cheerful heart is good like medicine” (Proverbs 17:22).
Here are other fun facts you’re probably dying to know:
- We drink A LOT of coffee
- We love dogs - they’re in the office often
- We have a yearly halloween party and cook-off
- We make a lot of our own memes
- We believe in team retreats and clarity breaks
The genesis of The Squad goes back to late 2007. Bryce Raley, our founding partner launched Simplified Solutions, LLC in late 2007 with the goal of helping businesses get organized and gain efficiencies through digital tools. Next came an embrace of inbound marketing, just as the new marketing methodology was taking shape. Then there was Jessie D., HubSpot, new partners, office moves, and an epic Ikea trip. Maybe you should just take a look at the full timeline to get all the details!
