Meet our Content Manager Nathan and learn all about his love for writing. We know you'll love his knowledge of all things movies, "basic" favorite food,  and passion for telling stories at the Squad!

Hey there, how’s it going? I'm Nathan.

My Background

I grew up here in Louisville, KY. I left home to attend college at Cedarville University in the cornfields of Ohio, where I studied Digital Media, Theatre, and Biblical Studies. After graduating I became the videographer for a Louisville-based summer camp. Following the beginning of the pandemic, I started as the Marketing Manager at a Chick-fil-A Franchise. After other roles there including hiring and recruiting and team care, I ended up here at the Squad! Writing has always been a deep passion of mine. For many years in college, I planned to pursue a career in screenwriting. As a movie and theatre buff, storytelling has always been a part of my DNA and I’m excited to use that love as a part of my job.

Describe what you do at the Squad

Here at the Squad, I will be responsible for everything from web copy for client websites, blogs, and emails, to writing and editing for videos.

What’s your favorite thing about The Marketing Squad?

So far I love the culture and how much people seem to love being here.

Life Outside of Work

In November I married my incredible wife Sabrina. We actually went to the same school since kindergarten but never connected until after college at a friend’s wedding. Sabrina is a dance teacher in Oldham county and we both have a huge shared love of theatre. However, I am introducing her to more sports than she ever thought she would watch.

Soccer and movies have always been a big part of my life outside of work. If I'm not utilizing my Cinemark Platinum Movie Club status after work, it's probably because I woke up early that day to play pickup soccer. I've found that both these passions of mine present incredible opportunities to meet people from all different places and walks of life.

What’s your favorite food?

I love steak (which feels basic) and my backup would be shrimp and grits.
