West Coast Land Conservancy was started by a group of wildlife biologists with the goal to help the environment and companies. In California, there are strict laws and regulations when building, especially when the land might be home to endangered animals. So, since West Coast Land Conservancy is a private company providing mitigation land credits to private industry, the company goes in and surveys the land properties before companies buy, sell, or build to make sure endangered animals do not live there.
Although the goals and works are admirable, they aren't always easy to understand. When you say "mitigation land credits to private industry," there tends to be confusion on what the West Coast Land Conservancy does. Therefore, the challenge was making this company relatable and easy to understand.

Bold graphics that tell the story. We wanted to show what the West Coast Land Conservancy does and make their work relatable to the target market. The second solution was making the copy easy to understand, coupled with a simple layout. We wanted to make the user-experience as smooth as possible, so by using bullet points and clever language, the target audience can quickly understand the who, what, and how.
