Welcome to The Squad Kacie, Content Manager

As a team of Passionate Storytellers it should come as no surprise that writing compelling, audience-driven content is fundamental to The Squad. Heck, we used to be called The Content Squad! We've "grown-up" from our days of only writing blogs, emails, social, and website content to now incorporating videography, graphic design, digital advertising, search engine optimization, and marketing automation into telling our partners' stories in order to grow their businesses.

Nevertheless, well-crafted writing is core to our work and that will never change! That's why we are excited to announce that Kacie Brockman has joined our team as a Content Manager! She's been here a few weeks, so we thought it was time you got to know Kacie a little better.

Kacie graduated from WKU with a degree in Journalism and a minor in Marketing, and her passion for telling stories was clear from day one. She's diligent in her research and conveys our partners' services, cultures, and industries with precision and careful word-smithing. We love having Kacie on our team and we can't wait for you to meet her in person. Read on to learn more about Kacie and her past experience:

How did you get connected with The Squad?

I found The Squad's website while researching Marketing companies in the Louisville area. The website design and team really caught my eye!

What’s one thing you love about working here so far?

I love the atmosphere here at The Squad. It is relaxed, laid back, and easy to get work done while in the company of fun, easy-going people.

What do you like to do for fun?

In my spare time, I like to do outdoor activities like hike, go biking, go to the lake, or lay by the pool. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. Retail therapy is also a fun outlet I use to relieve stress. I love listening to live music whether it be a show or at a festival.

What are your passions as far as your career is concerned?

My career passions include growing as a marketer, writer, strategic-thinker, and overall business professional. My dream job is to be the editor of a major Beauty/Fashion magazine such as Vogue or Elle. Outside of the journalistic and marketing realm, I would love to be a buyer for a clothing company like Free People or Anthropologie.

Anything else people should know about you?

A fun fact about me is that I have had many different hair colors. The most fun being bright, cherry red, and a lavender purple!
