Welcome to The Squad Spencer

If you’ve followed along with The Squad for a few years, you’ve probably noticed a pattern of new team members joining us at the start of each year. Alea joined our team at the start of 2017 and Brooke came on board back in January of 2016.

We are excited to announce that we continued the trend in 2018! Spencer Smith joined our team as our newest Marketing Coordinator.

Spencer’s go-getter attitude and wide range of skills are already making an impact at The Squad. Get to know Spencer a little better:

How did you get connected with The Squad?

A friend of mine, who works for Toadvine Enterprises and actually uses The Marketing Squad to help out with the company marketing and website development, reached out to me about an opening at The Squad. The role that was up for grabs seemed ideal for my career desires and I had no choice but to pursue the job!

What’s one thing you love about working here so far?

Honestly, from the moment I walked in there has been a great sense of community and everyone has really made me feel welcome. All of the members here at The Squad seem so talented and I know this work environment/culture will only bring out my best!

What do you like to do for fun?

I love playing sports with my friends (golf and basketball mainly) and I am always down for a good hike.

What are your passions as far as your career is concerned?

I love building relationships with people. Not only does that allow me to help people with their needs, but I also learn so much with each relationship. No matter what stage of life, I always strive to exponentially grow, whether that be in the work place or daily life.

Anything else people should know about you?

I am addicted to traveling - but what millennial isn't? This one time I lived on an island in the middle of Lake Superior working at a national park called Isle Royale National Park. I spent most of my time there kayaking, canoeing, fishing, and spectating the Northern Lights on a weekly basis. To me it doesn't get much better!
